Grammar Notes

  1. ขอ + noun + ได้ไหม = Can I have…? / May I ask for…?
    Ex: ขอเบอร์โทรศัพท์ได้ไหม (khǎaw böö thoo-rá-sàp dâai mái) = Can I have your phone number?
  2. มีไหม = Do you have?
    Ex: คุณมีไลน์ไหม (khun mii LINE mái) = Do you have LINE?
  3. เพิ่มเพื่อน (phôoem phʉ̂an) is a set phrase for “add friend” (on LINE/social apps).
